Support
Help for LilPass, the app that keeps every loyalty and membership card one tap away.
Something not working? Email
support@lilstudio.app with your iPhone model,
iOS version and the kind of card (and barcode, if you know it). Every message is read and answered.
Adding a card
- Tap + and point the camera at the card's barcode or QR code.
- No luck with the camera? Choose a photo of the card instead, or type the number printed under the barcode and pick its format.
- Give it a name, colour and icon, and you're done.
The scanner at the checkout won't read it
- Make sure brightness boost is on in Settings, and hold the phone flat, a hand's width from the scanner.
- Check the number on screen matches the one on your plastic card. If it doesn't, edit the card or scan it again.
- Some older laser scanners can't read any phone screen. The cashier can type the number shown under the barcode.
Which barcodes work?
QR, Aztec, PDF417, Code 128, Code 39, EAN‑13, EAN‑8, UPC‑A, UPC‑E, ITF and Codabar. Cards that only work by tapping (NFC), like many transit and some campus cards, can't be copied by any app.
Widgets
- Touch and hold the Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, and search for LilPass.
- Use the ‹ › bars on the sides to switch cards. Tap the card itself to open it full screen.
- Want to swipe instead? Drop several LilPass widgets on top of each other to make a Smart Stack.
- Cards locked with Face ID show a lock in widgets, not their barcode.
Store reminders
Open a card, tap Edit, and pick the store on the map. LilPass needs location access and notifications for this. If a reminder doesn't appear, check both in iOS Settings → LilPass.
iCloud sync
Turn it on in LilPass Settings on each device, signed in to the same Apple Account. Cards can take a minute to appear on a new device.
Unlimited cards
LilPass is free for 5 cards. The one-time unlock removes the limit. Bought it before? Tap Restore Purchases in Settings.
